Cherry Blossoms 2012

We have had a tradition since we moved to the east coast of visiting DC during the peak of the Cherry Blossoms. This year we decided to take a shortcut and go to Druid Hill Park, about 15 minutes from our house. Though it is a much smaller version of the cherry tree experience, it is still impressively beautiful. We went Friday evening for a picnic dinner and to take pictures with the blossoms. It was a gorgeous day and we were blessed to catch the weather just right as it rained the whole weekend. Here are some pictures our family outing.


Fire Station Visit

We recently went on a preschool field trip to visit the Hampden Fire Station. Audrey enjoyed it and Elliott LOVED it! We had to drag him away from the engine. Here are a few pictures from our visit....
