We always try to make it to Sherwood Gardens to see the many (27) beds of tulips in bloom. This year, we went a few times. First, to scope it out after school on April 20th. We ended up spending an hour there.
It was pretty perfect, so we scheduled a "Family Picnic" the following Friday where we invited lots of friends to join us for a "bring your own" picnic. The picnic ended up being about 50 people. It was a chilly evening Friday, April 24th but the sun was out and no one wanted to leave until sunset. Eric was out of town that Friday, so we knew we would be back with him shortly.
The kids enjoyed the live music.

We ended up going on another picnic Sunday evening with our family.
