The first week (actually first 4 weeks) of school were rough... not because of school, we just had one thing after another.
Monday, Eric got a nasty cut on his toe from a piece of slate (due to taking the trash out barefoot after dark).
Adeline stopped napping, well at least in her bed. She would just fall asleep on the way to pick up the kids from school.

Ugh, Wednesday, upon attempting to do a 7am load of laundry...I found a busted water heater and wet basement. That day was destroyed.
