Post-Christmas Fun

Eric was off the week between Christmas and New Year's as comp time for working so hard during the processing season.  We spent the time doing a combination of lounging at home with the addition of some fun activities.

Max was game for lounging as well.

Here's Audrey's favorite thing to do - pretend she is pregnant.  This actually looks a lot like I did pregnant- an abnormally large stomach where people were convinced I was having multiples.  If only Audrey knew how "not fun" pregnancy was...she might not play pregnant all day long.

Adeline in the church nursery sporting her sweater dress with poms and boots.

We visited a few train gardens, one at the Kenilworth Mall
and the other at Glyndon Volunteer Fire Department (which was by far the best).

Adeline loved the fish tank- almost made me consider getting her some fish, but no.

Elliott liked the trains, but was confused why we weren't going to see the Fire Engines too.  One very nice fireman overheard our conversation and volunteered to give us a tour.  The train garden was in the basement of the station, so we went upstairs and saw the engines, though not a good picture was taken.

More presents arrived... the whole family enjoyed opening a Christmas package (or trunk) from Auntie Lidia.

Here's Adeline's tiny puppy in a purse which was a huge hit.

Elliott received another welcomed puzzle.

"Neurotic me" had to help him color it in.
