Audrey and I landed late on July 7th. July 8th was the only evening we were in town and were able to get together with some friends from our college days. Chris and Eric were housemates in college. Chris and his family are missionaries that we have supported for about a decade. It was awesome to be able to see them on their trip to the east coast. We felt so blessed the the timing worked so perfectly.
July 9th, we drove to Blacksburg VA for my cousin's wedding. We rented a house on Airbnb with my Mom and Larry. We saved half the cost of a hotel and had an awesome house for the long weekend. The kids room was the highlight... so much better than a hotel.
Friday, July 10th we went to lunch at Five Guys and then explored a little of Blacksburg.
After lunch we toured the Smithfield Planation
