There was a memorial service and vigil for Kester and his mother, a boy from Audrey's school (in a different second grade class but in reading club together). They were found murdered in their home at the end of May. It was tragic in many ways. I guess part of the realities of living in Baltimore, but this hit home harder than the riots.
Monday, the older kids both had school as usual and I watched Micah in the morning... the last typical day we would have for awhile.
Monday, was Elliott's last day of school at least in his uniform (right before graduation day).
Tuesday, was Elliott's Pre-K graduation (which deserves it's own post, which I will post next).
That afternoon, we watched construction in front of Stefanie's house with the cousins. I love that this is so interesting for the kids... better than TV.
Wednesday, dentist appointment for all three kids. This was Adeline's first visit and she did great!
Thursday, we went to the Stoney Run playground with our neighbor's and carpool buddies.
Audrey's last day of school. Oh, how they grow...
Almost as fast as the tomatoes.
Elliott already enjoying his summer uniform (note the mud).
Audrey's card for Sean, who broke his arm.
Elliott already missing his class. Change is hard, but necessary!
