On Saturday, August 1st, we went to Lancaster, PA with some of our Mennonite friends to spend the day of their family's farm.
We first went to their meadow for a hot dog roast and to play in the creek.
Next, was a wagon ride to the Dairy
The calves were very friendly
I liked the pop-up tomato plant in the compost.
We got to look in the milk tank and taste some fresh milk.
The day wrapped up at the playground where we sipped meadow tea and ate popsicles.
It was a fabulous day and we hope to return next year.
